Assistant Director of People and Culture

Who We Look For:

The role will have direct involvement in every aspect of the Human Resources function including: recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, retention, employee communications, career development, wage & hour compliance, learning and development, workers’ compensation, union relations, and legal matters related to hotel employees.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Two to four years of employment in a related position with Four Seasons or other organizations
  • Preference for candidates who have experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • A general working knowledge of labor laws (Local, State, and Federal)and union relations
  • Ability to attract and recruit new, dynamic talent to Four Seasons who compliment the vision of the hotel.
  • The ability to react and adjust to changing business environments while implementing efficient workflow processes.
  • Strong organizational and project management ability.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; Workday preferred.
  • Mastery of the English language in all forms. A second language is a plus!
  • College education, SHRM certification or equivalent experience
  • US work authorization is required unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location. Current Four Seasons managers may qualify for L-1 visa sponsorship.

This position reports to the Director of People and Culture and is a Department Head role.
