What Will I Be Doing?

The director, All-Inclusive will help lead, plan, manage and execute against the key priorities and initiatives for our all-inclusive strategy. The position reports to the global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts and will work closely with other leaders of global brands and the All-Inclusive commercial and strategy teams.

In this role, you will help make strong progress against the completion of All-Inclusive strategies and initiatives and champion the All-Inclusive segment of our business. The role requires experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to get results. The role will be responsible for developing an understanding, recommendations and business cases; crafting and implementing plans; and mobilizing the necessary resources for implementation.

This team member must have experience working with multiple “client” groups (departments, corporate partners, owners, management company leaders, hotel leaders, etc.), getting large sophisticated projects to the finish line, possess outstanding written and oral communication skills, and have an outstanding ability to develop and present information/business cases persuasively. Ultimately, this person must be an effective spokesperson for the All-Inclusive segment.

More specifically, you will:

  • Partner with Global Head Hilton Hotels & Resorts and All-Inclusive project leaders on the execution of the enterprise All-Inclusive strategy. This includes strategic plans which drive revenue, improve market share, improve product and service quality, owner profitability, and build dedication to this segment and our Hilton brands.
  • Lead integrated performance of identified metrics: Net Unit Growth, RevPAR, RPI, Cash Flow, SALT, EBITDA, and assess and supervise the competitive position on these metrics.
  • Proactively lead and execute day-to-day activities on all All-Inclusive initiatives.
  • Provide support and guidance for new hotel development projects and assist the brand performance team with ongoing hotel performance support.
  • Work with key partners and departments, including owners and management companies to structure resources and activities so objectives are accomplished.
  • Provide support in developing and maintaining high-quality standards by partnering with the product and quality departments to supervise all product improvement plans, and any other action plans to impact brand quality, including future product improvement strategies.
  • Assess actual performance against the business plan to resolve whether the segment is on target to reach its goals and take corrective actions as vital.
  • Create awareness, educating and evangelizing All-Inclusive across the organization to establish understanding and capabilities.

What Are We Looking For?

We believe success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Previous All-Inclusive experience and experience with growing a brand/segment
  • Strong understanding of the All-Inclusive business model and key components including source markets, F&B, entertainment, sales and marketing, and overall financial performance
  • Capacity to navigate a large, matrix organization with multiple cross-functional teams and key partners
  • Strong business analysis and strategic skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a cross-platform mentality and course of action; ability to empower, influence, collaborate and work in partnership within the team as well as across the organization
  • Experience conducting market assessment and/or competitive benchmarking to settle strategic opportunities
  • Experience in assisting with the development of new strategies, building business cases, gaining internal/external support in a cross-functional environment, and driving implementation, with a strong background of completion timeliness and results
  • Strong communication skills, including the capability to identify appropriate opportunities and to share those messages with applicable constituent groups.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven-plus years brand or hospitality experience
  • Two-plus years in the All-Inclusive segment in a leadership capacity
  • Two-plus years of managerial experience
  • Travel as required 20 percent to 40 percent of the time

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MS/MA Master's Degree or MBA
  • Global experience in additional regions and sourcing markets
  • Fluent/Conversational Spanish
