We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Global Director of Talent Acquisition with experience in fast-growth companies (ideally, software companies), who has experienced of what growing a team means (ideally, from 500 to +800 employees). You can be based out of the London, Berlin or Barcelona hub.

We need someone who can build long-lasting relationships with the internal partners, who can assess them end to end from the role conception to the offering process.

You will need to own a goal, plan and forecast accordingly, and be autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to meet our ambitious targets. On top of that you will have a focus on quality of hire, preserving our culture is of the up most importance and our TA strategy must reflect this. We already have a high bar, and we want to continue to raise it.

What you will do:

As a Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading and transforming our global recruitment team with our TA managers for Tech and Business. You will own the strategy behind our employment branding, diversity efforts, operational planning and TA methodology. 

The ideal candidate should possess the strong business knowledge, exhibit outstanding communication skills, lead the recruiting processes and have strong leadership skills to ensure we are hiring the best teams! 

  • Transform and take the recruitment function to the next level
  • Manage a team of TA Managers and lead a TA function of around 15+
  • Design and Lead the Talent Acquisition strategy and operations
  • Design and implement a recruitment, sourcing and channel strategies that deliver a superior candidate pool focused on direct hiring and quality inbound applications
  • Redefine current processes and implement "best practices" using innovative, automated  and technology led solutions to deliver a state of the art function
  • Evaluate, select and manage recruitment solutions to deal with peaks
  • Define and report on robust metrics to measure talent acquisition effectiveness and performance
  • Own Employer Branding strategies to make our employer reputation unique
  • Ensure the team deliver a 7 star candidate experience and focus on quality of hire
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with business leaders across a range of disciplines and geographies
  • Manage hiring efforts for executive positions and other key positions with the TA managers
  • Create the next generation of recruitment best practices
  • Develop and grow the team driving their engagement and motivation
  • Design standardized candidate assessment practices at different levels/roles 


What you need:

  • Experience as a TA leader with at least 5+ years managing teams
  • Experience managing people managers
  • Experience hiring, developing and managing large recruitment teams in high volume/high growth context with ability to scale up and down activity quickly based on business needs
  • Preferably a strong background in digital media & technology recruitment tools and methodologies
  • Background in Technology recruitment
  • Experience in a People/HR Leadership team
  • Knowledge of usage and design of different ATS
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working with C-level executives
  • Experience in building teams in different countries at the same time
  • Demonstrated project leadership, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated drive and execution skills
  • Travel will be required (25% of the time)
  • Excellent English, written and spoken
