The Global Sales Director is an enthusiastic individual with extensive experience in group/MICE sales with specific knowledge of the Incentive Business Sector.  This position will focus on identifying and developing the top incentive accounts on behalf of the company with defined goals for increasing revenue and market share of their assigned accounts.  The Incentive Director will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities in this space with a follow up to create and execute a prospecting plan for said opportunities.  This individual must be a highly-motivated self-starter.  This individual will also be responsible for internal education of the Incentive space.

The Global Sales Director is a career sales professional and a top producer within the Hyatt Sales Force who has a proven track record within sales and customer engagement.  The Director will have a number of measurable goals including account specific revenue targets, customer touchpoints/engagement, future group revenue, new account development, lead conversion/lead volume and overall closing business for both domestic and international hotels.

Responsibilities include account management, prospecting new business opportunities and overseeing a shared sales coordinator.  General computer knowledge is required including Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Communication and organization skills are extremely important for this role. This position is remote with a home-based office.

Responsibilities

Sales Calls/Prospecting New Accounts

Pre-qualify and target Key Accounts, utilizing Envision database and develop appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies to increase market share.

Work with all Hyatt Sales Force colleagues to strengthen Hyatt’s Global Account Management in the DE&I Space.

Able to work independently and make decisions based on established policies and procedures.

Business Travel required when deemed appropriate.

Communicates and promotes Hyatt’s brand differentiation and brand essence to the market

Provide feedback to VP and RVP’s of Hyatt Sales Force Global Sales and market conditions, forecasts and recommendations.

Orchestration of account plans and collaborating with other Directors to drive production and revenue.

Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Qualifications

Experience

7-10 years’ experience within the Incentive Industry:  managed action plans, and collaboration with team members.

Strong knowledge of Group Incentive Market

Education

4-year degree preferred

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

Solid written, verbal and presentation skills

Excellent organizational skills

Strong client relationships

Strong knowledge and command of Envision (CRM)

Proficient in Social Media, Excel, Word. PowerPoint and Outlook

Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do positive attitude

Must be adaptable and a team player

Some travel will be required
