What’s the best book you’ve read recently?
“The Widow” by John Grisham.

What do you love most about the industry?
The incredible resilience. Our ability to adapt, innovate and keep moving forward – no matter the challenges – is what makes hospitality so special. It’s an industry built on collaboration, where people come together across brands and markets to create exceptional guest experiences. I also love how digital marketing has evolved, blending brand-wide strategies with unique, property-level storytelling.

What’s something the community may be surprised to learn about you?
I’m not a fan of the holiday season. I love fall, but Thanksgiving and Christmas are my least favorite holidays. I do enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I love a great light display – but the traditions and music don’t excite me.

What’s the toughest part of being in charge?
Balancing collaboration with accountability – especially when tough conversations are necessary. I’m solutions-oriented, but sometimes, there just isn’t a solution and that’s never easy to navigate.

What are your nonnegotiables when it comes to work-life balance?
I keep two phones – one for work, one for personal use. In digital marketing, the tools live in our phones and without boundaries, it’s too easy to slip into 24/7 work mode. Protecting personal time is essential.

What woman inspires you right now and why?
Mariska Hargitay. Beyond her iconic role on Law & Order: SVU, her real-life advocacy and openness about healing are deeply inspiring. Her recent documentary really moved me – especially the way she balances her personal journey with her career. Plus, she has an amazing sense of humor!

What industry trend are you closely tracking and why?
The integration of personalization and AI-driven marketing. From dynamic website content to hyper-targeted CRM and media strategies, this trend is reshaping the guest journey. When done right, it enhances loyalty, elevates storytelling and becomes a true brand differentiator.

What’s one thing you look for when interviewing a job candidate?
Willingness to learn. In digital marketing, everything evolves quickly. I want to work with people who are curious and adaptable – those who are constantly building their toolbox.

What’s something you’ve learned about yourself in the past year?
That there’s light at the end of the tunnel when you stay true to your values. My parents were evacuated during the California wildfires in January, and though our home was spared, many friends lost everything. Returning home to help gave me a new perspective and a renewed commitment to giving back.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Living well is the best revenge.”

What values are most important to you as a leader?
Integrity, collaboration and growth. Trust is the foundation of any great team, and I believe in creating a space where people feel supported, challenged and inspired to reach their goals.

What’s the most important thing people should know about you?
I lead with equal parts strategy, analytics and heart. Results matter, but so do relationships. I approach every challenge with curiosity, collaboration and passion.

What’s a tip you have for productively leading a hybrid team?
Be intentional with communication and connection. Clear expectations, consistent updates and informal check-ins go a long way in building a strong hybrid culture.

Where’s your favorite place you’ve traveled?
Puerto Vallarta. I visit 2𔃁 times a year – it feels like a second home where I can recharge, eat incredible food and always discover something new.

What’s the top item on your bucket list?
To travel to every continent.

What do you do to recharge?
You’ll find me at a concert, music festival or sporting event when I’m off the clock.

What’s your biggest accomplishment?
Transitioning into hospitality during the pandemic and building a career that makes a measurable impact. I’m proud of the work I’ve done in leading digital strategy, improving performance and fostering cross-functional collaboration in a short time.

What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?
Lead with authenticity, confidence and collaboration. Don’t compare yourself – just show up, do excellent work and support those around you. Leadership isn’t a zero-sum game. When you lift others up, you elevate yourself too. As my dad says: Your attitude determines your altitude.

What gets you up in the morning?
Literally – my cat and dog! They’re my built-in alarm clocks and morning joy.

What do you like most about being a member of Women Leading Travel & Hospitality?
The sense of community and shared purpose. It’s incredibly empowering to connect with women who are passionate about the industry and committed to lifting each other up through shared stories, insights and encouragement.
