“The Alchemist” … a repeat read annually! - What do you love most about the industry?

I performed in the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. I was on the step team. - What’s the toughest part of being in charge?
Sustaining non-negotiable boundaries to avoid burnout, especially as an entrepreneur. - What personal skill or attribute do you believe is most responsible for your success?
Adaptability - What woman inspires you right now and why?
My grandmother. She is now deceased but she was a bright light in my life. Her presence is deeply missed by all. She was the epitome of having a Mary heart in a Martha world. - What is one industry trend you’re closely tracking and why?

I value the support and relationships within our incredible industry. It’s important — to go fast, go alone, to go far, take others with you! - Do you prefer to work in the office, at home, or hybrid? Why?
Hybrid. Although I am an entrepreneur, I do invest in a co-working space to sustain a sense of community and connection. It also provides an environment that allows me to focus and be productive. - Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled to? Why?
Africa. I’ve traveled to various parts five times and I always leave better than when I arrived. - What is the top item on your bucket list?
To travel to as many countries as I can. - What do you do to recharge?
Being in nature … a walk outside always gives me a boost. - What is your biggest accomplishment?
My daughter. Being a single parent was not easy and I am super proud of the really good human with a big heart that I raised ????. - What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?

The quality of content is wonderful. My background has been in human resources so I greatly appreciate the areas of focus as I have transitioned into the hospitality industry as an agency owner with a growing team.
