There’s a group of industry leaders convening in Dallas next month who all have something unique in common: shared experiences of what it’s like to be a woman leading a team during one of the most profound periods that the travel and hospitality industries has ever experienced.

During Women Leading Travel & Hospitality’s next in-person Roundtable, the following executives will share leadership insights and expertise they’ve amassed after years of trial and error, successes and failures, wins and losses:

  • Michelle McKinney Frymire, the former CEO of CWT, a travel management company. McKinney Frymire has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, ranging from top positions at Starwood Vacation Ownership and TruGreen LawnCare to Delta Airlines and Continental Airlines. At CWT, she led the company’s transformation, strategy, technology, human resource, procurement and finance functions.
  • Whitney Eichinger, vice president of culture and engagement at Southwest Airlines. Eichinger oversees company initiatives designed to better understand employee sentiment, needs and expectations, while increasing employee engagement throughout all workgroups.
  • Melissa Stillwell, vice president of revenue for Quorum Hotels. Stillwell plays a vital role in helping meet the hotel management company’s mission of creating value for clients through exponential growth and maximization of each asset’s value.
  • Cheryl Richards, senior vice president and chief DEI officer of Visit Dallas, the official destination marketing organization for the city of Dallas. Richards’ responsibilities include creating and implementing a strategic plan to elevate Visit Dallas as a leader in DEI. She does this in part by customizing experiences for groups while delivering relevant content.

Moderated by executive coach Quendrida Whitmore, this panel of leaders will discuss the challenges they’ve faced in the industry, how they’ve achieved success to date, what they’re excited about going forward, among other topics.

To be a successful leader like the panelists listed above requires a degree of courageous leadership, something Cindy Solomon knows a little bit about. Attendees of the Dallas Roundtable will also hear from Solomon, the founder of the Courageous Leadership Institute, about how to leverage their own courage and transform their organizations and leadership styles.

This wealth of industry knowledge is wrapped up in an afternoon of networking, inspiration and connection. If you’re director-level or above, sign up now to reserve your spot at our Roundtable, which is being held on Wed., June 1 at The Highland Dallas. You won’t want to miss it.
