Jai Ferrell, CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, believes you should never have to dim your light in any space.
The former chief commercial revenue officer for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) spoke at last month’s Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Summit. In this clip from her keynote, Ferrell shares her guiding principles: integrity and illumination. She encourages women to maintain honesty and authenticity even in difficult times; the power of resilience; and the importance of letting one’s inner light shine.
“When I enter personal or professional spaces, I ask one simple question: Can I show up as my authentic Jai? Do I have to dim my light for anyone? Is this a space where I’m allowing other people to show up so that they, too, can show what their light is? It’s imperative for you to audit and change your environment where your light is being challenged,” Ferrell advised the audience.
