SH Hotels & Resorts hired Clio Knowles as its chief people officer in January. Previously, Knowles spent nearly nine years working at Virgin Hotels; she was vice president of people before spending her final year as chief people person.

Before Virgin Hotels, Knowles worked for Kerzner International for nine years, starting as global human resources manager and ending her time there as vice president, global human resources.
