“Say ‘yes’; adventure follows, then growth.” This mantra feeds Carla Hall, chef, TV host, author and motivational speaker, as she moves through her life and career. Hall shared her purpose statement with Amy Burr, president of JetBlue Technology Ventures, at the 2024 Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Summit, held June 10-12 in Charlotte, NC. Hall first won over audiences when she competed on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and “Top Chef: All Stars,” and shared her philosophy to always cook with love. She spent seven years co-hosting ABC’s Emmy Award-winning lifestyle series “The Chew” and is currently featured on the Food Network as a judge on competition shows such as “Summer, Thanksgiving, Holiday and Halloween Baking Championships.”
