Whether you had every intention to log in but just got busy — hey, we’ve been there — or want to watch it again, we’re excited to announce that Women Leading Travel & Hospitality’s November Virtual Exchange is now available for on-demand viewing.
In case you haven’t viewed one before, our Virtual Exchanges feature interviews with leading travel and hospitality executives on a variety of mission-critical industry topics. Our fourth and final Virtual Exchange of the year, which took place on Nov. 2, saw great engagement from our community. It featured expert speakers who addressed the shifts we’ve seen in traveler behavior and what they potentially mean for the future of the industry; how to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion within hiring and leadership practices; the state of gender equality in the travel and hospitality industry; and much more. Here are details on the event speakers:
- Christina Rice, a serial entrepreneur, health and wellness creative, certified yoga and meditation instructor, and founder of OMNoire, a social wellness platform for black women and women of color. Rice spoke about her entrepreneurial journey and how health and wellness have played a role in it. In addition, she shared some fabulous wellness tips with attendees.
- Rachel Humphrey and David Kong from DEI Advisors, an Arizona nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering personal success. Humphrey and Kong provided insights and advice for creating cultures of inclusion in the travel and hospitality industry, and participated in some thoughtful exchanges with attendees that were truly eye-opening.
- Crystal Vinisse Thomas, a veteran hotelier and alumna of The Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, currently leads the lifestyle and luxury brands at Hyatt Hotels. Among other topics, Crystal discussed the state of gender equality in the travel and hospitality industry.
Make sure to check out the Virtual Exchange on-demand! We know you will find it a valuable use of your time!
