Greetings!

My name is Susan Koger, and I’m thrilled to be the new membership director for Women Leading Travel & Hospitality.

The novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald once said, “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall,” and, indeed, during this crisp autumn here in Philadelphia, my professional life has started anew with a happy next chapter.

Joining the team at Women Leading Travel & Hospitality, after nearly 19 years at an international membership organization for physicians, has been a wonderful confluence of some of my passions — working to build communities around shared interests and values; helping others to thrive through meaningful personal connections and professional development; and expanding my own knowledge through travel.

By way of background, I’m originally from northeastern Pennsylvania. I first moved to Philadelphia to attend college, and I’ve been in its Queen Village neighborhood for nearly two decades. With my husband, an educator, and our son, a middle-schooler, we take full advantage of all this beautiful, gritty city has to offer, but we each have a bit of wanderlust in us. Therefore, we travel frequently — sometimes close (the beaches of Delaware), sometimes far (to visit family in Lithuania), and many places in between (Northern California, and Yosemite National Park especially, is a favorite).

The world of travel and hospitality empowers people to live their lives fully and to become global citizens, and this amazing community is making that happen. I can’t wait to learn from you while also helping you each find personal and professional fulfillment within this strong and growing membership of women leaders.

Until we meet in person at one of our events, connect with me on LinkedIn or reach out to me anytime (skoger@napco.com) with questions or ideas about membership — or about joining Women Leading Travel & Hospitality.

Cheers to new chapters, all things fall, and all of you!
