Previously, Martin Ziegenfuss was senior vice president of global enterprise and brand marketing for Hilton for seven years. Before Hilton, Martin Ziegenfuss spent 11 years at Choice Hotels in a variety of marketing roles.
Carnival Cruise Line named Amy Martin Ziegenfuss as chief marketing officer at the end of April. She will start her new role May 2 and will report to Chief Commercial Officer Ken Tate, and succeeds Pete Callaro, who left in February 2022.
“To say that I am looking forward to working with the world-class Carnival team to market this powerful brand doesn’t quite capture it – Carnival has been innovating the cruise industry since its inception in 1972, and continues to do so today with market-leading sustainability efforts, a focus on inclusion and memorable experiences for millions of guests each year who ‘choose fun’ together. I’m thrilled to join the amazing team working to map the brand’s exciting future,” Martin Ziegenfuss said in a LinkedIn post.
“And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention another amazing brand – I’m extremely grateful to Hilton and the fantastic Hilton team for the incredible opportunities had and connections made during my time there. Cheers to #hospitality and the future of #travel, for all of us,” she continued in the post.
