I’m writing this on the literal longest day of the year, yet I feel time is moving so fast. This day, this month, where did it go?
I bought a 2021 physical calendar this week, now that we’re halfway through the year. Prior, there was so little to keep track of I didn’t feel the need — it was minimal enough I could just remember and didn’t need to coordinate with my husband (we were both just home … all the time). But with vaccines administered and restrictions lifted, there are local events, work trips, weddings, vacations and visitors again! Remember plans?
Life resuming its post-pandemic pace is beautifully novel, but you know what I can’t imagine? Coordinating employees return to the office, including decisions such as deciding who can work remotely and how often, and such. I have so much admiration for the leaders making these tough decisions.
