March 8 is International Women’s Day, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you, tomorrow as well as every other day.
Carve out some time for yourself this Thursday to hear from eight incredible leaders in the travel and hospitality space during Women Leading Travel & Hospitality’s next Virtual Exchange. This free virtual event features live interviews with industry experts discussing the future of the industry, DEI, leadership insights, and more.
You’ll first hear from Naomi Kent, the managing director of the executive search and professional recruiting firm Felix Corp., about the best ways to get on a corporate board. Kent has more than 20 years of experience on boards, and currently serves as the board chair of HerCsuite, which helps women of all levels advance in their careers.
After Kent gives us the secrets to gaining a corporate board seat, a panel of women selected for the 2023 Top Women in Travel & Hospitality report will be joining us to expand upon the interviews they gave. The panel includes:
- Emma Banks, vice president of F&B strategy and development, Hilton;
- Jai Ferrell, chief commercial officer and deputy general manager, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport;
- and Shelly Cruz, vice president of global sales, MGM Resorts International.
Lastly, three experts who will be offering one-to-one career coaching at the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Summit later this year will sharing a little bit about their coaching styles, their biggest advice for career advancement, and more. The coaches’ panel will include:
- Anne Freedman, speaking and leadership communication coach, Speakout LLC;
- Courtney Seard, executive coach, courtneyseard.com;
- Rachel Vandenberg, hotel owner and leadership coach, PEAK Leadership;
- and Quendrida Whitmore, leadership coach, coachquen.com.
