Let’s face it: Hybrid work is here to stay.

Sure, many people are returning to the office. In fact, while remote work peaked in April 2020 when 70 percent of workers were off-site either fully or part-time, that number has since dropped to 56 percent, according to a recent Gallup poll.

While in-person office work will probably always be a staple, a recent report from the Society of Human Resources Management forecast that by 2025, most employees will work at least five days a month from home. Given that 84 percent of current remote workers prefer working from home, this would seem to a win for employees.

If your company is contemplating implementing a hybrid work model — i.e., where some days your team will be working from home and coming into the office other days — it’s crucial to be prepared. That’s why we’re excited to share that Women Leading Travel & Hospitality will be hosting a Virtual Exchange on June 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET with remote work expert Sacha Connor, CEO of Virtual Work Insider. Connor helps prepare executives and companies to lead, communicate, collaborate and drive culture in hybrid and remote teams.

This interactive discussion will provide valuable insights for attendees as they prepare their organizations for an evolving post-pandemic work environment. In this complimentary livestream event, Connor will address the future of the industry’s workforce as the world transitions to more remote and hybrid workplace models. You can register for this complimentary event here.

And that’s not all: Make sure to check out Women Leading Travel & Hospitality’s e-newsletter next week, when we will be introducing our “Back-to-Office Checklist” report. The report will feature a list of key information you need to safely and effectively plan for the future of work, including bringing employees back into corporate offices and headquarters.
